It’s with heavy hearts that we at the Toronto Chapter say goodbye to a big part of our Dreams Take Flight Family; Walter Gretzky. Canada’s beloved hockey dad worked tirelessly with our organization as well as other different charities. Walter was widely known for serving his community and giving back in more ways than one. He was a great storyteller & wonderful with our children. He made it his daily intention to spread love and light everywhere he went & to everyone he met. His presence will be sorely missed by all of us at Dreams Take Flight, but we are forever grateful to have fond, joyful memories of him throughout the years with our kids. We wish the Gretzky family comfort & peace, and we keep them all close in thought and prayer. Thank you Walter Gretzky for your generous heart & helping us make a positive impact on so many children’s lives; while making magical dreams come true. The world truly lost an angel on earth, but you will be forever in our hearts.
